Blakeview is a northern suburb of Adelaide, in the state of South Australia, Australia. Blakeview is located approximately 29kilometres from the Adelaide CBD and is located in the City of Playford.
Blakeview is bounded by Smith Road in the north, Craigmore to the south, One Tree Hill to the east, and Main North Road in the west.
Blakeview is named after Joseph Blake, an early blacksmith in the area.
The main shopping area in Blakeview is on Main Terrace located in the new Blakes Crossing development. It has supermarkets and other specialty shops. Blakeview is also within minutes of the Munno Para Shopping Centre located on Main North road
There are four schools in the area, Blakeview primary school, Trinity College – Blakeview Campus, Craigmore High School and Blakes Crossing Christian College catering for reception to secondary schooling.
Blakeview is conveniently located by Main North Road, connecting the suburb to the Adelaide CBD. Public transport is serviced by buses connecting Blakeview to the Adelaide/Gawler train line at both Elizabeth & Smithfield train stations.
