Elizabeth Park is a northern suburb of Adelaide, in the state of South Australia, Australia. Elizabeth Park is located approximately 27 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD and is located in the City of Playford.
Elizabeth Park is bounded by Garlick Road and Yorktown Road in the north, the Turner Drive alignment and a line running to the south of Adam Creek in the east, a line running to the south of Olive Grove Reserve and Yorktown Road in the south and Main North Road in the west.
The Parks Shopping Centre with supermarket, post office, launderette, newsagency, butcher, take away store & petrol station.
Fremont Park is popular with the local community. It is a large recreational area with children’s playgrounds, family bbq area’s, walking trails and lake filled with ducks. The walking trails & bike tracks continue through the Olive Grove Reserve & Jubilee Park. Dwight Reserve another local recreational park with sporting fields and playground.
There are two schools in the area. Catholic school St Thomas Moore & Elizabeth Park Primary School both schools catering for reception to year 7 students.
Elizabeth Park has regular bus services that will take you to both Elizabeth Shopping Centre & Munno Para Shopping Centre. You will also have access to both Elizabeth & Smithfield train stations connecting you to the Adelaide/Gawler train line. Main North road runs parallel to Elizabeth East taking you through to the Adelaide CBD by either bus or car.
